Role Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Social Media Intern to support our social media team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing social media accounts, creating engaging content, and learning the ins and outs of digital marketing for mission-driven brands.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing social media accounts for various clients, including content creation, scheduling, and posting.
Assist with creating social media content across all platforms
Edit reels + TikToks in CapCut.
Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and develop creative ideas for social media campaigns.
Help track and analyze social media performance using analytics tools, providing insights for improvement.
Stay updated on social media trends and emerging platforms to ensure our strategies remain fresh and relevant.
Support the team with administrative tasks, including content calendar management and report preparation.
Qualifications:
Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, and sustainability.
Basic knowledge of social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Creativity, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment.
Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics is a plus.
Previous experience or coursework in marketing, communications, or related fields is an advantage but not required.

FILLED - Social Media Marketing Manager
Location: Remote, with occasional on-site opportunities in San Francisco or Los Angeles.
*This is a Full time (40+ hours per week) contract role
Content Creation & Management
Develop visually stunning client decks, from initial drafts to final approval.
Assist in crafting creative briefs and reviewing content for alignment with client goals and brand voice.
Design and execute social media content calendars across platforms, focusing on trends, storytelling, and audience engagement.
Create, edit, and manage short-form video content (e.g., TikToks, Reels) with an emphasis on shareability and impact.
Write engaging captions and copy that align with each client’s tone and objectives.
Manage a team of creators and oversee the content production process.
Provide creative direction and support for professional photoshoots.
Maintain a strong sense of design and aesthetics.
Project & Task Management
Streamline workflows using Asana, ensuring the team operates efficiently and stays organized.
Manage team assignments, track deadlines, and oversee deliverables across multiple client accounts.
Oversee influencer and partnership campaigns, handling communication, timelines, and deliverables.
Act as the primary contact for campaign logistics, ensuring seamless execution.
Support creative direction and execution for photoshoots.
Serve as a key liaison between clients and the internal team, fostering clear communication.
Manage a support team of 3-4 (coordinators, editors, and content creators).
Collaborate with the ad team to launch ad campaigns effectively.
Strategy & Reporting
Stay informed on industry trends and competitive insights, contributing fresh ideas to client campaigns.
Compile and present performance reports with actionable recommendations for each client.
Drive strategic planning for client accounts, including quarterly meetings to outline big-picture goals.
Streamline internal and external processes to optimize efficiency.
Who You Are
4-8 years of experience in a social media marketing and/or project management role.
Proven managerial experience, including hiring, onboarding, and developing at least one direct report.
Expert knowledge of major social media platforms (TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, and SnapChat), best practices, trends, and reporting tools.
Experience in community management, with a strong understanding of content creation, follower growth, and engagement strategies.
A passion for unique storytelling and creative content.
Strong analytical skills to measure campaign effectiveness and translate data into actionable insights.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Exceptional collaboration skills and a proven ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships, fostering a team environment.
Bonus: Skilled in crafting visually compelling decks and presentations.

This role is ideal for someone with a 1-2 years of social media marketing experience, a passion for social media, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies for multiple clients across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Create, schedule, and publish engaging content that aligns with each client’s brand voice and values.
Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and foster community engagement.
Analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve reach, engagement, and conversion rates.

Summerset Social is looking for a savvy Social Media Coordinator to help play a key role in assisting with social media accounts for incredible clients in the Hospitality, and better-for-you CPG food and beverage space. This is a part-time role for a super-organized self-starter looking to learn the ins and outs of social media for established and emerging brands. We’re looking for a creative, outside-the-box thinker who pushes boundaries and systems. You’ll spearhead help produce photoshoots, launch social media campaigns, assist in developing strategy, create content, write copy, coordinate with influencers, organize partnerships, and support in analyzing monthly metrics. We’re looking to bring someone on who wants to grow with the role and work with an incredible lineup of brands.
Key Skills:
You must have 1-2 years of experience in the social media and digital marketing space.
Creative thinker and calculated risk-taker
You must showcase expert organizational, troubleshooting, and time management skills
Systems-oriented and a willingness to learn and adapt with the client
You are a self-starter and have a sense of ownership over your projects
Proficient in Google Docs, Microsoft Office, Canva. Adobe Suite is a plus.
